German start-up acquires 4 remaining Crystal river ships | Technoscoob
Riverside Luxurious Cruises has acquired 4 extra former Crystal Cruises river ships – MS Bach, MS Ravel, MS Mahler and MS Debussy.
This builds the fleet for the German start-up firm, which acquired Crystal Mozart – which has been renamed Riverside Mozart – in November 2022.
The recently-acquired ships will now be often known as Riverside Bach, Riverside Ravel, Riverside Mahler and Riverside Debussy.
Mozart is about to start crusing in April 2023 on Danube River itineraries. The Ravel, in the meantime, will sail the Rhone and Saone rivers from Burgundy to Provence and Debussy will sail on the Rhine between Amsterdam and Switzerland.
The Bach and Mahler will start crusing in 2024, in accordance with stories, and itineraries are anticipated to be shared later this yr.
“We’re thrilled by the enlargement of our fleet to incorporate these storied vessels,” mentioned Gregor Gerlach, founder Riverside Luxurious Cruises, in a press release. “This acquisition permits us to develop our itinerary choices, showcasing a stage of area, personalised service and class not discovered with some other river cruise line.”
The ships at the moment are obtainable for reserving.
Riverside Luxurious Cruises can also be providing commissions – 21 per cent on all 2023 sailings – and particular FAM charges for journey advisors.
The event comes after Crystal ended operations in January 2022 on account of monetary issues.
